With the abolition of the sectoral regulations, the production and demand pattern of textiles has experienced multifarious change so also the pattern of trade and export of textiles and clothing. Further, the initiation of DOHA Development Round under the arena of World Trade Organisation (WTO) has also influenced the international trade in textiles.
